Translated Danske Møbler means 'Danish Furniture',
and it represents contemporary Scandinavian Design.
|
Ken and Bente Winter, were born in Denmark and immigrated
to New Zealand in the 1950's. From modest beginnings
in 1958 to an international family company employing
over 100 people, Danske Møbler has evolved to
become one of the leading home furniture companies in
New Zealand, expanding to cover all of the country's
major centres through its own retail stores and with
carefully chosen and appointed family owner dealers.
With its own furniture factories in Mt Eden, Auckland,
you can be assured of excellence in craftsmanship alongside
the best of local and carefully selected imports to
fully complement the range.
The passion for fine furniture and the management of
the business has been passed onto a new generation.
But in every piece of furniture you will still find
the same pride in design excellence, flawless construction
and superb customer service that has characterised the
company for more than 45 years.

Today Danske Mobler is still proudly owned by the Winter
family and is run by Allan and Kerry Winter who are
excited by the opportunity to bring their products and
brand to Taupo in a joint venture with Taupo residents
John & Sue Collett.
When you choose Danske Møbler, you know you're
choosing style, quality and value. That's a decision
you will never regret.
